The Crawford family put the Ontario community of Belleville on the hockey map, starting with Floyd Crawford, the patriarch of the family and captain of the World Champion Belleville McFarlands. Floyd and Pauline Crawford raised nine children in Belleville and hockey was always very close to the family.
